Scammers on BlueSky

This is very useful fella

This may be helpful to some of you and help spot scams. A LOT of them are using the same script when they make contact via in-app messaging. The same format may be being used across platforms but this has just been from my experience on BlueSky. (Hope this format is ok, it's just from my notes.)

Often has something like this in bio:
Я український воїн, ми захищаємо своїх батьків і матерів, дружин, дітей і весь світ свободи

Means:
I am a Ukrainian soldier, we protect our fathers and mothers, wives, children and the whole world of freedom

"Thank you for your support and love to the people of Ukraine 🇺🇦 how long have you been following the war?"

//Question if no response//
"Are you there?"

//Response to asking how things are over there//
"actually terrible here..but we are trying our best to stay safe"

"thank you for always supporting Ukraine, well it’s been terrible here lately and I have lost two of my friends this week to Russian soldier."
