The case to end European countries from their reliance of Russian fossil fuels. The dispensation offered to land-locked countries to continue buying Russian oil was tabled at law, as a “TEMPORARY” relief measure to allow the countries to set up alternative arrangements. It was never intended as a permanent opt-out of sanctions.
2 years later some countries are actually INCREASING their purchases of Russian fossil fuels, this a NOT acceptable.
The European Commission and the G7 countries have all failed to act on these countries continuing their trade with Russia.
@vonderleyen and the @EU_Commission have FAILED to address this, she has instead bartered concessions with the likes of Hungary.
